These boards can run in duel channel but why would you want to limit the cpu to duel channel when it can use triple channel. These boards over clock better in triple channel. In the slots you are using. How ever you might need to set your target memory to 1333 mhz or 1600 mhz for that amount of memory even maybe 1066mhz. Taking one out of my girlfriends rig, shes not happy about it, to help support the overclock. Also the dimm setup user Gomez99 has highlighted is my current dimm placement.
